The GE Tracker — Built from Scratch

The Skill Nation GE Tracker is a complete Grand Exchange experience built specifically for the Ferox Trading Post. It's inspired by tools like prices.osrs.cloud and 07.gg/ge, but tailored to our private server economy.

Every completed trade on the Ferox Trading Post is tracked, stored, and analyzed. The result is a live, data-driven marketplace dashboard.

GE Tracker Features

Dashboard & Analytics

• KPI Cards — Total transactions, GP volume, unique items traded, and active offers at a glance.
• Trending Gainers & Losers — See which items are moving up or down in price over the last 24 hours, calculated from actual completed transactions.
• Most Traded Items — Rankings by volume across day, week, month, and all-time windows.
• Highest Value Sales — The largest single-trade completions on the platform.

Items Table

• Full Item Database — Browse all 745+ items that have been traded, with real-time last price, 24h change, 24h volume, GP volume, and margin data.
• Search & Sort — Instantly filter by name and sort by any column.
• Instabuy / Instasell — See the current highest buy offer and lowest sell offer for instant trading decisions.

Item Detail Pages

• Price Charts — Interactive line charts showing price history with selectable time ranges (24h, 7d, 30d, all).
• Transaction History — A scrollable table of every completed trade for that item, with per-unit and total cost breakdown.
• Market Stats — High, low, average, volume, and GP volume for the selected time period.

Recent Improvements

Since launching the GE Tracker, we've shipped a number of critical accuracy and usability updates:

• Accurate Price Calculations — Fixed a fundamental data interpretation issue where transaction costs were being displayed incorrectly. Prices now correctly show the per-unit cost for all multi-quantity trades (e.g., 5,500 Runite ores sold for 99M total correctly shows as 18K each).
• Clean Chart Data — Price history charts now only display completed transactions, filtering out buy and sell offers that could skew the data with unrealistic prices.
• Improved Item Images — Three-tier image fallback system: local icons, OSRS Wiki images (proxied through Next.js to avoid cross-site cookies), and a clean placeholder for Ferox-specific items.
• Pagination Fix — All API routes now correctly handle Supabase's PostgREST row limits, ensuring complete data retrieval for items with thousands of trades.
• GP Volume Accuracy — GP volume calculations now correctly sum total trade values instead of double-counting.

• The GE Dashboard, Trending Items, Recent Trades, and Active Offers are available to all logged-in Skill Nation members for free.
